The cat portrait plates came about through an ‘are you a cat person or a dog person?’ conversation. ‘Winnie’ is the answer of a very dear friend. For display or use. Dishwasher safe.

Emma is known for her work as a jeweller, but in her breaks, can be found at Ceramics Co-op in Deptford making a clay ‘witches garden’ of imaginary plants from which cat conjuring spells made these plates & incidentally a real life cat! Each plate is formed from a flat slab of stoneware clay with thumb pushed edges. Portraits of cats she has known (or wished for!) are hand painted before being glazed. Display them or use them, she is open to commissions.
