Sarah Arnett is a Brighton-based artist and designer whose richly layered work explores colour, pattern, nature and storytelling. Born in Zimbabwe and trained in woven textiles, her journey has taken her from working with silk weavers in India to an award-winning career in fashion, before evolving into fine art and illustration. Inspired by travel, flora and fauna, architecture, folklore and film, Sarah combines drawing, painting, photography and digital processes to create intricate, dreamlike worlds. Her work has led to collaborations with Dior, Liberty and Adobe, alongside exhibitions and public art commissions. Twice a year, Sarah transforms her Brighton home and studio into an award-winning Artist Open House – a mini festival of art, talks and workshops. Most recently, her work was selected for Inspired by Standen: The Future of Arts and Crafts at National Trust’s Standen House.
