Milk makes us Merry

One of my first forays into working with animals! It was part of an alphabet.

Sarah’s assemblages and collages utilise printed ephemera, old photography books and magazines. She frequents car boot sales, charity shops and flea markets looking for boxes, frames, signs, old board games, photographs and curious objects. She is drawn to the worn and torn and the imperfections and irregularities are what appeal to her. The Atelier Cat Exhibition has given her a new subject matter and using elements from her ever-growing collections she has combined found materials, surfaces and three-dimensional pieces. Patina and contrast, as always, play a major part in her work.
