About the artist: I am a printmaker who spent a long time chronicling my local habitat in the East End of London and beyond. When I moved to Brighton some years ago I was initially rather at a loss as to where to go next with my work. But I gradually accustomed myself to my new environment and began a series of linocuts and screenprints celebrating Brighton's own particular architectural heritage from the propensity of local pubs and independent shops and the colourful streets of Hanover to some of the classic Victorian railway buildings.
This work is shown at Atelier Beside the Sea as part of the Atelier OPEN 2023 exhibition.
