Seaweed Print Mantelpiece Card Set

Enjoy all the beauty of a seaweed print without the hassle of finding and hanging a frame! In-between a postcard and a print, the mountboard makes these mantel cards strong enough to lean against a wall (or mantelpiece) without bending.

These snapshots of the sea feature prints of originals that were pressed and dried by hand using traditional techniques. Each card has the specimen identification detail on the reverse.

Sarah Wallace, the artist behind Seasidemoocher, is nature lover and seaside forager who is inspired by the beauty and diversity of seaweed, creating unique natural artworks and sea-inspired things from her studio in West Sussex. Following in the footsteps of intrepid Victorian seaweed hunters she collects a diverse range of specimens, sustainably searching the tideline for interesting variations of form and colour. The process of foraging and identifying is a joyous journey of discovery where each new find offers something unique.
