In this workshop, you will make a small foraging basket, finished with a long strap in either leather or cotton webbing.

Working with a range of willow varieties, you will learn key basketry techniques including pairing, waling, the French rand and a simple border.

This session offers a relaxed introduction to basketry, ideal for beginners. Along the way, we will explore how to source materials, the qualities of different willow varieties and where to find inspiration for future work.
